Toggle the DevTools dock position with this one weird keyboard shortcut

If you’re like me, you’re constantly moving where DevTools is docked — on the bottom, then to the right, then back to the bottom again.

If you use a mouse or trackpad, this is a tedious process:

Yesterday, after many wasted years of careful clicking, I had enough and did a quick search to see if there was a keyboard shortcut for this ubiquitous maneuver — lo and behold, there is one!

On macOS, press Command + Shift + D in any of the four major browsers — Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari — and DevTools will toggle to the previous dock position.

According to the Firefox DevTools documentation that changed my life, the shortcut on Windows and Linux is Ctrl + Shift + D. (Since the same shortcut worked in all browsers on macOS, I suspect the same may be true on those platforms as well.)
